As there were only three schools in Tenerife offering a British curriculum, you have a fairly easy choice when you want to select your school.
Wingate In the South of Tenerife
Pupils come to Wingate from a wide area, stretching from Los Gigantes its in the West to El Medano in the East.
Also, children have been known to come on the ferry from La Gomera, an island 35 minutes away from Tenerife.
The majority of children travel from the following areas: Callao Salvaje, Las Americas, Los Cristianos, Adeje, Arona, San Miguel and El Medano.
Typical travel time in the morning from Callao Salvaje is 30 minutes, from Las Americas is 20 minutes, from Los Cristianos 20 minutes and from El Medano in the East is also 20 minutes.
Los Cristianos and Las Americas is the two largest and most popular areas to live and work in and many other Wingate children come from these two areas. They are within easy reach of the school.
As most parents also work in Los Cristianos or Las Americas, Wingate is an easy choice.
